Advertising Agency in Chennai for Online Ads That Bring Enquiries
Online ads for Chennai businesses: Google Ads
Digital BizStar is a digital advertising agency in Chennai that runs online ads only: Google, Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn. Our own team makes the ad creatives in Tamil and English, builds the landing page, sets up tracking and reports on enquiries, so you can see what each rupee of ad spend brings back.

What does an advertising agency do?
An advertising agency plans, creates and runs paid messages that put your business in front of buyers. An online advertising agency in Chennai like ours picks the platforms, writes and designs the ads, builds the page people land on, sets up tracking and reports how many enquiries each rupee of ad spend brought.
If you only need search campaigns managed on Google and Meta, our PPC agency page covers that on its own. This page is for businesses that want the ads, the creatives and the landing page handled by one team.
Online or traditional advertising in Chennai?
For most small and mid-sized businesses, online ads are the better start. You can begin with a small budget, choose the area and the audience, and count every call, form and WhatsApp message. Hoardings, bus panels and newspaper ads build local awareness but cannot show who responded.
We run online ads only. If your goal suits outdoor or print better, we will say so. The comparison table below shows where each one works.
Online advertising services from ad to enquiry
Pick a part to see what we do and who it reaches.
Google Ads: Search, Performance Max and Display
People searching for what you sell, at the moment they search
Search ads put you in front of people who are already looking, so they usually bring the fastest enquiries. We keep campaigns narrow and the landing page matched to the ad. For ongoing search and shopping management, see our PPC agency page, and for sales targets and return on ad spend, our performance marketing page.
- Ad groups built around one service each, with negative keywords from day one
- Ad text and extensions written for each service and area
- Calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks set as the goals, not page views
- Search terms checked every week and wasted spend cut
Best for
Services and products people already look for: clinics, education, real estate, home services, online stores
Formats
Search ads, Performance Max, Shopping and display remarketing
Who you reach
People searching for what you sell, at the moment they search
Meta Ads: Facebook and Instagram
People who match your buyer by area, age, interest and behaviour, and people who visited your site
Meta ads create interest in people who were not searching yet, then bring them back when they are ready. The creative does most of the work here, so we test new hooks and formats every few weeks. Our social media team keeps your organic posts in line with the ads.
- Audiences built from your customer list, site visitors and look-alikes
- Reels and static ads made in Tamil and English
- Lead forms with a qualifying question, or a chat that opens in WhatsApp
- Retargeting for people who looked but did not enquire
Best for
New offers, visual products, local promotions and brands people have not heard of yet
Formats
Reels, image and carousel ads, lead forms, click-to-WhatsApp, catalogue ads
Who you reach
People who match your buyer by area, age, interest and behaviour, and people who visited your site
YouTube and video ads
People watching videos, Shorts and tutorials related to what you sell
Video earns attention that a still image cannot, and YouTube viewers can be brought back later with a search or Meta ad. We shoot and edit short videos in-house, so you do not have to find a separate production house.
- Short videos cut to the first five seconds, since that decides whether people stay
- Versions in Tamil and English
- Audiences by interest, search history and past site visits
- Video viewers retargeted with a direct offer
Best for
Brand launches, products that need explaining, and anyone with video to show
Formats
In-stream, Shorts and discovery video ads, with remarketing
Who you reach
People watching videos, Shorts and tutorials related to what you sell
LinkedIn Ads for B2B enquiries
Decision-makers chosen by job title, seniority, industry and company size
LinkedIn clicks cost more than Google or Meta, so we recommend it only when one customer is worth a lot. Profiles, content and outreach are covered on our LinkedIn marketing page.
- Audiences built from your target companies and job titles
- Lead Gen Forms that fill in from profiles
- Leads sent to your CRM or inbox with an instant alert
- Budget kept small until a campaign proves itself
Best for
B2B offers with a high value per customer, such as demos, audits and consultations
Formats
Sponsored posts, document ads, message ads and Lead Gen Forms
Who you reach
Decision-makers chosen by job title, seniority, industry and company size
Ad creatives and landing pages
Everyone who sees your ad, and everyone who clicks it
A weak page wastes a good ad, so the creative and the page are built as one job by the same team. See our website design and conversion page for how we build them.
- Copy and design made together, so the message and the picture agree
- Each offer gets its own landing page with the form and call buttons above the fold
- Pages built to load fast on mobile data
- New versions tested against old ones, one change at a time
Best for
Any campaign where ads get views but too few enquiries
Formats
Static ads, carousels, short video, landing pages, Tamil and English copy
Who you reach
Everyone who sees your ad, and everyone who clicks it
Online ads compared with hoardings, bus panels and newspaper ads
Each one is right for somebody. What differs is who you reach, how fast you can change the message and whether you can count the response.
| Online ads (what we run) | Hoardings, bus panels, newspapers (we do not run) | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sees it | People you pick by area, language, interest or search | Everyone who passes or reads, interested or not |
| Counting the response | Calls, forms and WhatsApp messages tracked to each ad | Hard to link a sale to one hoarding or one print ad |
| Starting small | You can start with a small daily budget and raise it as results come | Space is booked for a set period, so the commitment is larger up front |
| Changing the message | Edit an ad in minutes, or swap a weak one for a new one | Changing means reprinting or rebooking |
| Best for | Enquiries, bookings, online sales and any offer you want to test | Building awareness of a brand in one locality or on one route |
| Main risk | Spending on clicks that never become enquiries if tracking or the landing page is weak | Paying for reach with no way of knowing what it produced |
A firm with a branch on a busy road may still want a board outside it. Online ads then bring in the people who never pass that road.
Start with your goal, then choose where to advertise
The same budget behaves differently on each platform. This table shows where we would begin for common goals.
| Your goal | We would start with | First number we watch |
|---|---|---|
| Calls and enquiries from people searching for your service | Google Search ads | Cost per enquiry |
| Bookings or visits to a shop or clinic | Google Search with area targeting, plus Meta ads around your branch | Calls and direction requests |
| Selling products online | Google Shopping and Performance Max, plus Meta catalogue ads | Return on ad spend |
| Launching a new brand or offer | Instagram and Facebook Reels, with YouTube video | Visits to the landing page, then cost per lead |
| Demos or meetings with other businesses | LinkedIn ads, with Google Search for people already looking | Cost per qualified lead |
Market benchmarks for ad costs in India, not our results
We are a young agency, so we will not dress up client numbers we do not have. These published ranges show what advertisers in your industry typically pay, so you can judge any plan, including ours.
| Industry | Cost per click | Cost per lead |
|---|---|---|
| Real estate | ₹40 – ₹120 | ₹800 – ₹2,000 |
| Education | ₹15 – ₹55 | ₹400 – ₹1,000 |
| Healthcare | ₹12 – ₹45 | ₹300 – ₹700 |
| B2B software and technology | ₹12 – ₹42 | ₹600 – ₹1,800 |

An illustration from the ranges above, not a promise. The first weeks are for testing, so costs are often higher before they settle. After the audit we set your target cost per lead from your own margins.

Review call and reportSix questions to ask before you choose the best advertising agency in Chennai
Ask every agency the same questions and compare the answers. Our guide on how to choose a digital marketing agency goes further.
- 1
Who owns the ad accounts and the creative files?
The accounts should be in your business name, and you should keep the designs and videos if you leave.
- 2
Is the ad spend paid straight to Google and Meta?
Ask for the agency fee and the ad budget as two separate numbers, plus GST.
- 3
Can I see every campaign myself?
You should have viewer access to the ad accounts, not only a monthly PDF.
- 4
What does the fee include?
Check whether creatives, landing pages and tracking are in the price or billed on top.
- 5
How long is the contract, and what is the notice?
A short initial period with a clear review point is fairer than a long lock-in.
- 6
Can you show a sample report?
It should lead with enquiries and cost per enquiry. Ask us for ours, and we will send it.

Advertising agency FAQs
Plain answers on cost, budgets, languages and how we work.
How much do advertising agencies in Chennai charge?
One 2026 India pricing guide puts a small or mid-sized business retainer at roughly ₹20,000 to ₹75,000 a month, and says agencies that manage Google and Meta ads often charge 10% to 20% of the monthly ad spend. GST at 18% is added to the agency fee, and the ad spend itself is paid separately to Google or Meta.
These are market ranges from public guides, not our price list. Our quote is written after the free audit, and it shows the agency fee and the ad budget as two separate numbers.
What is the minimum ad budget?
Google and Meta set no fixed minimum, but a budget that buys only a few clicks a day gives the campaign nothing to learn from. A simple way to choose: multiply the cost per lead typical for your industry by the number of enquiries you want. The table above shows ₹300 to ₹2,000 per lead across four industries, so 20 enquiries a month would need roughly ₹6,000 to ₹40,000 of ad spend.
We set a starting budget with you after the audit, and raise it only when the numbers support it.
Do you do hoardings, newspaper or bus advertising?
No. We run online advertising only: Google, Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn. If your goal is awareness of a brand in one locality, outdoor or print may suit you better, and we will say so in the audit rather than pushing online ads.
Who owns the ad accounts and the creative files?
You do. Google Ads, Meta Business, Google Analytics and the ad creatives are created in your business name or handed over in full, and we are added as users. If we stop working together, the accounts, the data and the design files stay with you.
Do you run ads in Tamil?
Yes. Our team writes and designs ads in Tamil and English. We can run each in its own campaign and compare which brings more enquiries, and ads can be targeted by language and area.
How soon will the ads bring enquiries?
Google Search ads can start sending clicks within a day or two of approval. Settling on a steady cost per enquiry usually takes several weeks, because each campaign needs data to learn from, and the first weeks are for testing audiences, offers and ad versions.
We review the numbers with you at day 30 and decide what to change.
What is the difference between an ad agency in Chennai and a digital marketing agency?
An advertising agency focuses on paid messages: planning, creating and running the ads. A digital marketing agency covers more, including SEO, social media and content. We do both, and this page is about the paid advertising side. Our SEO and social media pages cover the rest.
Should a new business start with Google ads or Instagram ads?
It depends on whether people already search for what you sell. If they do, Google Search ads reach them at the moment they want it. If your product is new or visual, Instagram and Facebook can create interest first, and retargeting then brings visitors back. Many businesses begin with one platform and add the second once the first is tracked and working.
Do you guarantee leads or sales?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee a number, because results depend on your offer, price, location, competition and how fast enquiries are followed up. What we do guarantee is the way we work: clear targets, tested tracking, weekly changes and reports that show enquiries and cost per enquiry.
Do you make the ad creatives yourselves?
Yes. Our team writes the copy and designs images, carousels and short videos in-house, in Tamil and English, and builds the landing page for each offer. The creative work is listed in your proposal, so you can see what is included before you start.
